Who we are
Live at the Mill is the trading name of Jamie Tyler, a sole trader based at Wellington House, Pollard Street East, Manchester M40 7FS. We are the data controller for the information described here. Email studio@liveatthemill.co.uk with any question about it.

What we collect
When you order from us: your name, delivery address, email address, a phone number if you give one for courier deliveries, and the details of what you bought.
When you email or message us: whatever is in the message, and our reply.
When you use the website: standard technical information such as pages visited, collected through cookies.
We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and your card information goes to them, not to us.

Why we hold it, and on what basis
To pack, post and support your order — because we need it to perform our contract with you.
To keep records of sales for HM Revenue and Customs — because we are legally required to.
To answer your messages and deal with any problem — because it is in our legitimate interests to run the shop properly.
To send you occasional emails about new stock — only if you have asked us to. You can unsubscribe from any of them and we will stop.

Who we share it with
Royal Mail and our couriers, so they can deliver to you.
Our payment provider, to take payment.
Wix, who host this website.
Our accountant, for our tax return.

That is the whole list. We do not sell your information to anybody, and we do not pass it to other retailers.

If you bought from us on eBay, Vinted or Etsy, those marketplaces have their own privacy policies covering what they collect, which we do not control.

How long we keep it
Order and sales records: six years after the end of the tax year they fall in, which is what HMRC requires.
Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe.
General messages: normally no more than two years.

Cookies
This website uses cookies to work properly and to tell us roughly how many people visit and what they look at. You can accept or decline the non-essential ones when you first arrive, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.

Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to us using it, or ask for it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent to marketing whenever you like. Email studio@liveatthemill.co.uk and we will deal with it within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
